Notes from a Bored Housewife
I quit!....Yes I quit my F***** up job....that was the only way of remaining sane!
And yes am back to being a boring housewife again...!
Life as a housewife sounds busy...all the cooking, cleaning and grocery shopping that one needs to do (ahem...i have a maid for most of these though!).....so the biggest question everybody seems to ask me is..."So how is life being a housewife?".....
Well...Hubby dear has put it well..."Its the best job that u can do right now".....and now that I evaluate it...it has every element of a job u see....
1) I spend so much time with the laptop chatting with friends that am afraid I might have an affair with it soon
2) I have lunch "meetings" with Oprah--oprah show couldnt have better timing:-)
3) My "assignments" include making special dinner requests for hubby and planning for parties...(p.s:- we'r having a predated Bday party for hubby dear tomorrow)
4) The absence of my "reportee"(the maid:-)....is the biggest "stress" factor in my job as a housewife....
5) Hubby leaving office at 6:00 pm sharp is one of the major sources of "excitment" in my job as a housewife
6) I am soon gonna develop an expertise on programs aired on Discovery channels...I know the timing of practically every serial on the channels...have found a new best friend at work...the TV!
No wonder many housewives get addicted to their jobs...its a job noone wants to quit.....!!!....
Well for now am trying to catch in all the 'work experience" in my job as a housewife...till I get into the corporate rut again...as they say ..."a good work experience never goes waste":-)

Ohh...SAME PINCH....I quit my Full Time job sometime back...& am enjoying being a Housewife...
-Am hooked to the net...chatting with old school/college/office friends
-Taa...daa..Oprah airs at the best time...2 pm....I hardly miss my lunch meetings with her...
-Ohh yeah pampering hubby dear with his fav dishes...I try to do the same...
-Worrying whether the maid will turn up or now...same here madam..
-Hubby dear comes home on time...but the calls never end :(...double :( :(

I keep myself busy with my hobbies and pass time. No complaints unless we start comparing with working women.
nice life.. my extended vacation has me enjoying a similar life except being with mom i have lesser chores

(Good)Pay is the only thing missing ... sigh.. I am so greedy.
Nice.. left job within a month.. well my wife too has done similar thing and is now planning to go back to school to learn and do something that she likes to do..

Even if i am too jobless as of now, i too find myself too occupied with things but its high time now so i thought of it, To Quit Everything and to give some moments to myself

pdkhvsorry, that previous message was me.. you HAVE to help.. husband thinks i will bug him to death if i dont get 12 hours of work each day.. and even the temptation of a wife with a better skin, sweeter disposition, and more time to learn cooking.. hasnt cut any ice.. :-((

being a housewife can be quite an adventure. you just wait and watch gal. And besides ul get time to pursue ur hobbies, which i bet must have taken a backseat when u were working

Don't be a bore housewife, besides your usual chores, do something. Pick up a hobby or how about some social work? Add values too :D

and oh btw kudos to you for not puttin up with a sick job, some people put up with unpleasant jobs and boss...but why put up with somethin that's making u unhappy? so again, good going:)
